La fiesta de bienvenida

Info meeting and welcome party!

We started at 8 o'clock with an "info meeting" about Nicaragua (culture and history). It was a really interesting lecture held by teachers from Kulturstudier. It ended with a local singer Carola, and a guitarist playing traditional songs from Nicaragua. We all sang with them on the chorus.
After a long and interesting day we could celebrate with a WELCOME PARTY (fiesta de bienvenida).


We had a big party at The monkey republic to celebrate a great start, and to get to know each other even better. It was a great party with a welcome drink, delicious food, a local band playing and the rest of the night DJ and dance music.... So basically, I danced all night long. Incredible! Some of us went out afterwards, but the DJ was so awesome that I danced the night away at the party. After a while they played only salsa and raggaeton, and you know I'm crazy about that type of music
